For Prayer-

Mark and Andrea Hotchkin are doctors with the BMS in Bardai, Chad. We support them as a Church. They ask for prayer for:-

  • The plans they have for the hospital to come to fruition;

  • The doctors to learn well and to return to Bardai as soon as possible after the training;

  • More nurses;

  • Peace in Chad and Libya.

I email their prayer letters out to some in the Church. If you would like a copy please let me know. Doreen.

Prayer-This is a message from Revd Graham Thompson, co-chair of the Cornwall District and next year's President of Conference, As our nation - along with the rest of the world - continues to wrestle with the effects and uncertainties caused by Covid19, we are calling the Region to prayer on Epiphany, 6th January 2022. Please will you join us in setting aside some time on 6th January 2022 - alone or with others?

HELP NEEDED- More cleaners are urgently needed. Can you please let Beverly know if you can help?

Welcomers- We need more welcomers for the 9.15 service, please.

Flower rota is being prepared for this year. Please can we have some more volunteers? It would only be for one Sunday a year. Please see Mary Bennetts if you can help.

Communion -Is there anyone who would like to help prepare communion for the 9.15 services, please?

Children It is lovely to see the children in Church on Sundays. It would be good to have an activity sheet or similar that they could do on a Sunday whilst at Church. Is there anyone who would like to prepare this? Please let Doreen or one of the other stewards know if you can help.

Little Fishes Little Fishes have been going for over 30 years at Chapel Street. There is help needed to keep it going now. This is a group and young mums and their young children who meet weekly on a Thursday from 9.30 – 11.30.

Future Services:- We have an 'own arrangement' on January 30th for the 9.15 service. There are many in our Church with gifts of leading and anticipating in worship. If you feel you are one of those please see John Bennetts. Thank you.
