Please pray for the people of Ukraine

  • The Christians in Ukraine are reading Psalm 31 and getting comfort from it.
  • “Transformation Cornwall” has developed a resource for Churches and people wanting prayers and practical resources for responding to the situation in Ukraine.
  • As you know, the UK government has opened the Homes for Ukraine scheme.
  • The Methodist website is seeing a lot of updating in recent days in response to this.
  • Sanctuary Foundation has useful information.

For Prayer

  • Remember the family and friends of Robert Trip, whose funeral is on 25th at 11am. He was grandson of Hugh Branwell, the organist who had the organ rebuilt. He was also related to the Brontë family.
  • Pray for Gill O as she continues her treatment.
  • Please pray for Mary H who is now home. Pray that she will have the help she needs.
  • Remember Bill E who is in Derriford after having heart surgery.
  • Remember those that we know who have Covid.

Help Needed

  • Little Fishes: We need more help for a few weeks. Can you please help?
  • There is a great need for welcomers for both services. Can you help?
  • There are some dates free for coffee mornings. Would you like to host one for your favourite charity?
  • Cleaners: Please can you help? Thanks so much to those who have offered to help with Chapel cleaning. It would be great to get another 2 people.
  • Collection Counting: There is a need for one more person to count the collection after the 10.45 service on a weekly basis and 2 more for the 5-week months and as reserves. If interested can see Paul Symons for instructions and guidance.

Thank you

  • Margaret W says a big thank you for the lovely flowers.
  • Thanks to everyone who is serving refreshments after the service,
