May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15 v 13.
We have been in contact with the mission. They are sending items which are desperately needed out to Moldova. This is a poor country which has welcomed those fleeing Ukraine. There is a box in the foyer for items which are needed. They are also much in need of financial help to cover transport costs. (This is the last week the box will be in the foyer.)
May 28th: The Coffee morning will be hosted by Doreen for Penhaligon’s Friends. (Penhaligon’s Friends support bereaved children in Cornwall.)

We meet in the church at 10 am on the first Friday of the month, new readers always welcome. This month we read Madonna of the Mountains by Elise Valmorbida. The story is set in Italy after the First World War and during the Second World War. It deals with the survival of one family during this turbulent period. Reading it at this time of unrest was particularly poignant. Sandra 01736 362115.

You are invited to presentations, prayers and a delicious cream tea at Crowlas Chapel at 4.00 pm on Tuesday 31st May, to welcome and celebrate the end of a cross-UK bike pilgrimage being undertaken by fifteen Christians and Release International. They aim to raise awareness and to pray for the 363 million Christians who are paying the ultimate price for their faith. Crowlas is the last church on the pilgrimage.
At the Stewards meeting, the old office was discussed. It was thought it may be possible to make it into a much-needed storage room. Can you pass any ideas or thoughts to any of the stewards please?
Please can you fill in the lists offering to welcome before the services or to host coffee mornings? Thank you.
Please could you contact Doreen at email@example.com with anything for the newsletter? Thank you.
