What’s On

  • Monday 6th June: Breakfast at the Family Hangout from 9.30. You are welcome to join us. Contact Marie T, 07773 903370.
  • Mazey day, Saturday June 25th. We plan to open the Church on Mazey Day to welcome people and serve tea, coffee and cake. We need people who could serve tea, coffee and cake and also some who could be in the Chapel and be around to talk to people. Please can you put your name on the list in the Foyer if you can make cake, buns etc., and/or be available on the day. We can only open the Church and serve tea, coffee and cake if we have enough people to help.
  • The AGM is being held on Sunday 10th July 2022. It will be held after the 10:45am service. Forms for the election to the Church Council marked 'Election to the Church Council' are in the foyer. Please fill them in if you would like to nominate someone as a representative on the Church Council. Forms for the election of Church Stewards are also in the foyer. There is also the opportunity to nominate others for the role. Please fill in the form if you would like to nominate someone to be a Church Steward.
  • Coffee Morning: Saturday June 11th at 10.30.

Thanks

  • To Paul Gray, who has been doing the projection for many years. Paul, we want to say a big thank you.
  • To Karen, who is weeding the Chapel courtyard. Karen has also made planters and filled them. They look great, Karen. Thank you.

HELP: The Church car park was very congested last weekend. Please can you only park in the car park during services if you need to for health reasons.

At the Stewards' meeting, the old office was discussed. It was thought it may be possible to make it into a much-needed storage room. Can you pass any ideas or thoughts please to any of the stewards please?

Help Needed

  • We have an URGENT need for a Church treasurer.
  • Alison Gunderson is sadly leaving the post of Circuit Administrator. The advert for her replacement and application form for the vacancy are on the circuit website. “There is somebody out there who is right for this and will do a brilliant job”.
  • Do you support a particular charity? If so, would you like to do a coffee morning for that charity? There is no one hosting the coffee morning for next week and several weeks in the next few months. If you can help, there is a list in the foyer.
  • If you can help with welcoming on Sundays, please can you put your name by the dates on the list? Thank you.

Please could you contact Doreen at doreen.hocking@btinternet.com with anything for the newsletter. Thank you.
